    Tens of thousands marched on Friday,Nov.15, in the city of Bucaramanga,Colombia, to protest the plans of the Canadian gold mining company (formerly called Greystar) now called EcoGold,to build a mine in the mountains just north of the city. Their plan is to use cyanide to mine the gold,which will lead to contamination of the water supply for more than two million people in the Department of Santander,where I live.
